Ciurè

In a neglected suburb of Palermo, Salvo struggles to raise his six-year-old son after the boy’s mother becomes addicted to heroin. To make ends meet, he’s drawn back into the criminal underworld through his former brother-in-law. When a job goes violently wrong, Salvo is taken in by Ciurè, a trans woman and dancer at a queer nightclub. With just three days to repay his debt, he reluctantly agrees to perform alongside her. What begins as a desperate last resort slowly blossoms into an unlikely bond. A bond that offers both hope and a glimpse of freedom, even in the face of real danger.
